What You'll Do:
- Provide high‑quality agronomic and technical advice to growers across the region
- Build and maintain long‑term, trusted relationships with existing customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through superior agronomic insight and service
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s operation, goals and seasonal requirements
- Share relevant technical, seasonal and market insights to improve farm productivity and sustainability
- Stay current with latest plant production practices and agronomic innovations
- Stay up to date with late digital tools and use them to ensure the best outcomes for your growers
- Coordinate and participate in field days, trials and farmer meetings, positioning yourself as a local subject‑matter expert
- Act as a go‑to agronomy advisor for cotton and broadacre inputs in the region
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience as a trusted advisor in an agronomy‑focused role
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong understanding of agronomic products, seasonal timing and grower requirements
- Demonstrated capability in sales planning, call cycle management and customer growth
- Excellent customer service, organisational and administrative skills
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a high‑performing team
- Experience in agronomic advisory roles relating to agricultural chemicals and fertiliser
- Knowledge of horticultural agronomy (highly regarded, but not essential)
- A tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science (or related discipline)
- A current driver’s licence
