What You'll Do:
Â
- Provide support with contract negotiations and develop contracts with optimal terms and conditions for consulting services, corporate services, SaaS, and other relevant contract categories
- Support and lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including gathering scopes of work, specifications, volumes, and other areas of value, to guide internal customer needs by developing RFx packages
- Coordination of internal stakeholders’ discussion on RFx packages and evaluations
- Analyze RFx supplier proposals and bid evaluation results to make supplier selection recommendations
- Assess industry & supplier landscape by performing market research and supplier due diligence
- Writing contract/executive summaries & securing contract signatures
- Administration of contracts & amendments in the appropriate Nutrien contract management and sourcing systems
- Act as a subject matter expert on indirect spend data (goods and services) and S2C/P2P Procurement process
- Leverage our internal spend analytics dashboard to produce category spend reports, generate supplier spend profiles, and analyze contract spend data
- Assist with Supplier Performance Management (SPM) tasks & Internal customer feedback
- Resolve invoicing/payment issues with corporate buyers and suppliers
- Calculate and tracking cost savings.
- Monitor and track of contract & spend compliance
- Engage with the Governance & Enablement Team to use procurement policies, processes, tools & templates.
What You'll Bring:
Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience with 2 years’ experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management
- Experience with Consulting Services, Facilities, Aviation, Engineering/ Construction, Travel Management, Corporate Card, Managed Services, and SHE contracts preferred. Other areas of relevance include IT procurement, SaaS, and Office Supplies.
- Experience in supply chain and procurement, including negotiations, supplier relationships, contract management, and S2P processes and tools
- Strategic sourcing experience and capabilities (S2C and P2P process)
- Motivated, high-energy, results-driven, and self-starter business mindset and capabilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with comfort working cross-functionally to gather information and resolve conflicts
- Understanding of SAP Ariba tools and processes and how they integrate with other systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Experience with enterprise asset management systems (such as SAP ECC and Oracle), contract management tools (e.g. Ariba), data management tools, and S2P systems (eProcurement)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and high time management skills
- Results-driven mindset and capabilities
- High degree of integrity, discretion, honesty, fairness, and sound business practices to secure and maintain Nutrien’s reputation in the market
