What You'll Do:
Â
- Assist division salespeople, management, and business allies with developing customer cropping plans including but not limited to soil fertility, foliar nutrition, crop protection and adjuvant systems, and seed portfolios
- Expand and solidify customer trust with Nutrien Ag Solutions as their agronomic business partner of choice through strategies designed and implemented to strengthen their business plans, profitability, and sustainability
- Understand, position, and educate colleagues and customers on the value of the technologies and formulations of proprietary products designed to solve their production problems and reduce their agronomic and economic risks
- Collaborate closely with Division leadership and Branch sales teams to identify agronomic product solution opportunities and educate salespeople and customers on product use BMPs
- Utilize multiple avenues of media to provide agronomic education on products and processes to assist with customer success and division profitability including but not limited to videos, agronomy newsletters, and face-to-face interactions with sellers and their customers
- Keep confidential customer information, accurate records, and organized business plans
- Make safety a daily priority
- Other duties as needed
What You'll Bring:
Â
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 + years experience with agronomy or agronomy related field
- Comfort level with business acumen and a results-oriented approach to the business of the division
- Demonstrated leadership experience and familiarity with agronomic principles of crop production
- Experience and skill with verbal and written communications and communication platforms to facilitate effective engagement with division team and customers
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work atypical and/or additional hours as needed to meet business needs
- Proficient use of computer programs such as but not limited to MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

The salary range for this role, in Minnesota location, is between $95,500 - $177,200. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.Â
