What You'll Do:

 

  • Work safely in a mining environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place
  • Support mining machine operations through manual labour and mobile equipment operation
  • Work on a rotating shift schedule
  • Participate in safety meetings and inspections and following standard operating procedures

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work rotating shift schedule required: 5-5-4 days and nights
  • Positive safety behaviour and a safety mindset
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour intensive team environment as well as independently
  • Stable work record
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
  • Willingness to learn and gain required knowledge and experience through training
