What you will do:

  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all Nutrien safety policies and procedures. Use the appropriate tools and equipment for the task and ensure the safety of fellow employees
  • Day to day general maintenance of the Powerhouse
  • Operate the Water Treatment Plant
  • Operate in relief of powerhouse operators
  • Light preventative maintenance of all HVAC and make up air equipment

What you will bring:

  • Second Class Engineer’s Certificate preferred but may consider Third class ticket holder working toward Second class ticket
  • Potable water treatment experience would also be an asset
  • Positive Safety behavior and safety leadership
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
  • Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
  • Ability to make and implement decisions under all conditions 
  • Stable work record with 3 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial environment is an asset
