What You'll Do:
Â
- Schedule and execute annual Global PSM and SHE&S audit plan
- Coach site personnel on PSM and SHE&S practices while conducting audits
- Collaborate with multiple shareholders for continuous improvement of the auditing program
- Coach and mentor guest auditors and other audit team members
- Track and interpret Global PSM and SHE&S regulations, as needed
- Implement audit practices consistently as written
- Develop written protocols and process documentation for the audit program
What You'll Bring:
Â
- Undergraduate Degree in a technical field or a combination of equivalent experience, education and training
- 8+ years’ experience with increasing responsibilities in process safety, safety and environmental programs in storage, manufacturing and production facilities
- Basic knowledge of the three (3) Nutrien Operating Segments
- Possess or willing to acquire auditor certification
- High level knowledge of audit processes and programs
- Professional/technical expertise in the development and unbiased execution of Auditing, PSM/SHE&S, and Operational Integrity programs, processes and/or services preferred
- High knowledge of PSM and SHE&S regulations
- Knowledge of Management System Structures and writing of documents contained therein
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Safety, Health and Environment Software, Microsoft Office programs including MS Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, SharePoint
- Ability to coach, mentor, influence, gain acceptance from others to facilitate moving from a culture of compliance to that of assurance
- Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally (including a current valid passport and driver’s license)
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with overnight travel as required
- Must be self-motivated and disciplined requiring little supervision
- Must be able to execute multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees and management across Nutrien
