The Senior Strategic Account Manager is responsible for leading and expanding strategic relationships with Seed Production companies across the United States. This role builds on established Corn and Soybean Seed Production partnerships while expanding into broader seed production segments, including vegetable and specialty seeds, and leading international growth initiatives with U.S.-based customers.

The position carries full accountability for developing and leading a strategic portfolio, with the expectation to grow it to $50M, driving revenue growth, deepening customer value, and expanding the company’s presence across domestic and international seed production markets.

What You'll Do:
Â
- Lead and manage national, strategic Seed Production accounts, serving as the primary senior commercial contact
- Expand existing Corn and Soybean Seed Production relationships through value‑driven solutions and long‑term partnership development
- Identify and develop new Seed Production opportunities, including vegetable and specialty seed markets
- Lead international growth initiatives with U.S.-based customers, coordinating cross‑border opportunities
- Own revenue, portfolio performance, forecasting, and growth strategy for a $50M book of business
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and contract development to ensure profitable and compliant agreements
- Collaborate with the proprietary products business to guide development, research, protocol design, plot data, and product performance strategies that support data‑backed customer opportunities
- Champion safety, compliance, and stewardship standards across all seed production activities
- Travel up to 40% to represent the organization in customer, industry, and executive‑level engagements and stay current on seed production market dynamics
What You'll Bring:
Â
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic account management, key account sales, or senior commercial roles within agriculture, seed, or related production‑focused industries
- Proven success managing national strategic accounts and driving sustained revenue growth
- Strong working knowledge of Seed Production systems, with experience in Corn and Soybean Seed Production
- Experience developing and executing strategic, multi‑year account plans aligned with customer objectives and production realities
- Solid financial and business acumen, including portfolio management, forecasting, and margin awareness
- Ability to operate effectively with executive‑level customers and cross‑functional internal teams
