The AI Business Enablement Specialist supports how business teams engage with AI in a governed, value driven, and adoptable manner across the enterprise. This role works closely with business users, product teams, technical AI delivery teams, and governance partners to help shape AI use cases, clarify value, and support responsible adoption.
Â
AI governance is enabled through day to day collaboration with technical AI teams that define and maintain enterprise governance patterns and guardrails, and in coordination with enterprise risk management functions including Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, and Integrity. The Specialist helps ensure AI demand is well defined, policy aligned, and ready for execution, supporting business teams as they navigate governance requirements and approved AI pathways.
Â
A key focus of this role is Value Definition as part of AI Enablement—working with business partners to ground AI tools and use cases in clear business outcomes, improved decision making, and measurable impact before advancing into delivery or scale. The Specialist supports the definition of problem statements, value hypotheses, success metrics, and adoption intent, and helps carry this context through intake, prioritization, governance reviews, and delivery conversations.
Â
In parallel, the role contributes to AI communications, evangelism, and literacy, translating technical, governance, and risk concepts into practical, business relevant guidance. The role operates at the intersection of business needs, AI delivery, and governance enablement, supporting the end to end AI business enablement experience from intake through adoption and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
Â
Value Definition & AI Enablement
- Work with business stakeholders to help document AI problem statements, value hypotheses, and desired outcomes prior to solution development
- Support business teams in articulating how AI may improve a decision, process, or outcome, rather than simply automating tasks
- Assist in defining success metrics, benefits, and adoption indicators (qualitative and quantitative) for AI use cases
- Ensure value context is clearly captured and carried into AI intake, prioritization, and governance discussions
- Support benefits realization by reinforcing expected outcomes during adoption and capturing feedback and learnings
Â
AI Governance Enablement & Risk Collaboration
- Collaborate with technical AI teams and platform owners to apply approved AI governance patterns, guardrails, and architectures in business use cases
- Help integrate governance expectations, value context, and risk awareness into AI intake and enablement processes
- Coordinate with risk management functions (Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Integrity) to support reviews and assessments
- Assist business teams in preparing required documentation by ensuring usage intent, value, and context are clearly described
- Reinforce responsible AI usage by helping business partners understand approved guardrails and when additional risk engagement is needed
- Provide feedback on adoption challenges and usage patterns to governance and technical teams
Â
AI Demand Support & Intake
- Support AI intake and demand shaping activities by helping refine ideas into clear, well defined use cases
- Help assess requests for value alignment, feasibility, and governance readiness before they move into delivery
- Work with delivery teams to ensure business context and expectations are understood
Â
AI Communications, Evangelism & Literacy
- Translate AI value, governance, and technical concepts into clear, accessible communications for business audiences
- Contribute to enablement materials, playbooks, and guidance that explain approved AI pathways and responsible usage
- Support AI literacy efforts by helping business teams build confidence in using enterprise approved AI solutions
- Encourage adoption of approved AI tools and platforms to reduce fragmentation and unmanaged AI usage
Â
Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a supporting point of contact for business engagement with AI
- Build effective working relationships with business partners, technical delivery teams, and governance stakeholders
- Help communicate trade offs related to value, governance, scalability, and delivery considerations
What You'll Bring:
Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in technology, data, or digital solution roles
- Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML or advanced analytics solutions in a business environment
- Experience working in partnership with business-facing roles (i.e. Business Relationship Manager, Product Manager, Consulting, etc.)
- Experience developing business cases, including cost estimates
- Proven track record of translating business problems into scalable technology solutions
- Strong communications, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
- Strong financial acumen to estimate and articulate solution costs
- Comfortable influencing without authority in a matrix environment
- Ability to tell a compelling story linking AI solutions to business outcomes
- Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, execution-focused mindset
- Curious and continuously staying abreast of rapidly evolving AI landscape
