What You'll Do:

 

  • Ensuring safe and efficient work practices 
  • Following and adhering to all safety policies, procedures, participating by entering near misses, reporting incidents and attending safety meetings as required
  • Performing daily maintenance by welding , cutting, reading drawings, layout, bolting maintaining repairing different types of static equipment
  • Welding, fabrication and installation of piping and piping components
  • Performaning maintenance and overhauls on equipement
  • Performing pipe fitter Welding work including major overhauls of equipment
  • Repairing heat exchangers, tanks, screws, elevators, plant structures, and boilers
  • Evaluate possible hazards and create plan to perform all work in safe manner 
  • Act with a high degree of integrity and ownership 
  • Excel in a team environment while also being a self-starter 
  • Willingness to work overtime as required 
  • Understand, and comply with, standards, policies, and procedures (LO/TO, Hot Work, Confined Space etc.) 
  • Comprehend all maintenance practices and continuous improvement concepts 

What You'll Bring:

  • Possess a minimum of grade 12 education, or GED equivalent 
  • Technical Degree or vocational training in Welding is preferred
  • 2+ years of maintenance/welding experience, preferably in an industrial setting 
  • Ability to qualify to ASME B&PV Code Section IX for welding carbon and stainless-steel pipe in all positions using SMAW and GTAW  
  • Possess basic computer skills, SAP experience considered a plus 
  • Training and experience operating mobile equipment including forklifts, man lifts, carry deck cranes, scissor lifts, etc. 
  • Experience with hydro testing of pressure equipment

 

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

 

The wage range for this role, in the Kennewick, Washington location, is between $36.91 - $52.55 USD per hour. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
