Discover more about potash at Nutrien! An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Allan Potash site beginning May 2025 for a 16-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.

What you will do:

• Take on various duties, within the Mine Operations Department, including:
  • Work with hourly people and staff (on surface and underground) to understand key metrics of mine operations and processes
  • Conduct data entry, analysis and reporting
  • Get familiar with planning and schedules
  • Work closely with the operations group to ensure site targets are being achieved by monitoring daily KPI's and providing variance reports

What you will bring:

• Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 3 years of an undergraduate Engineering, Commerce, Geology, or Computer Science program (or equivalent) at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term
• Preference will be given to candidates with mining or heavy industrial experience and/or with data analytics experience
