Lab Technician - Temporary

Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor.

This position is located in Allan, Saskatchewan, Canada.

What you will do:

• Responsible for the timely and orderly flow of analysis using a wide variety of testing procedures
• Ensure the accuracy of all analytical information processed
• Report significant deviations from standards to the Lab Supervisor
• Safely complete routine shipment, mill development and mill control analysis
• Participate in the Laboratory QA/QC program
• Fully support and follow lab procedures
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
• Strictly adhere to all of Nutrien’s safety policies and procedures

What you will bring: 

• Chemical Technology Diploma or equivalent degree program
• Familiarity with basic laboratory instrumentation, standard operating procedures and safe work practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable multi- tasking and working with multiple functions in a team environment
• Demonstrated self-motivation, analytical, problem solving skills, and the initiative to achieve desired outcomes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
