Mill Operations Superintendent - (Allan, Saskatchewan, Canada)

This position will report directly to the Mill General Superintendent.

This position is located in Allan, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.

 

What you will do:

 

 

  • Provide safety leadership for the surface operations areas by being visible in the workplace and actively participating in site safety programs
  • Lead the department to develop and execute plans to deliver on key business objectives
  • Empower and engage employees to solve problems relating to safety, productivity, cost and recovery
  • Develop resourcing plans and both capital/opex budgets to achieve department objectives
  • Promote a high level of trust, respect, and inclusion within the department and onsite
  • Work in partnership with Mill Maintenance and Engineering to set priorities and align on objectives

  • Experience in potash milling and loadout operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain high levels of trust
  • Leadership skills that enhance accountability and create a supportive and motivating work environment
  • Ability to influence, motivate and engage personnel
