This position reports to the Mill Maintenance Superintendent.

What will you do:

- Direct and monitor a planned preventive maintenance program for Surface Mill Maintenance

- Provide safety leadership, ensure compliance with all safety and workplace rules

- Continuous improvement of our maintenance management system (Oracle)

- Recommend the alteration or modification to existing systems, provide technical advice to personnel for improving maintenance and operating efficiency

- Assist the Mill Maintenance GF and Mill Maintenance Electrical GF with scheduling and shutdown maintenance of mill equipment for improving efficiencies

- Direct long range maintenance planning to achieve a high percentage of equipment availability

What will you bring:

- Safety Commitment

- Complete understanding of Mill Operations, processes and equipment

- Strong leadership skills to help bring accountability to your team by creating a supportive and motivating work environment

- Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills

- Experience with Oracle maintenance management software and Viziya would be a strong asset

- Interprovincial Red Seal, Engineering degree or a 2-year technical designation
