What You'll Do:

 

  • Assist with terminal / distribution operations by performing loading and unloading hazardous chemicals (nitric Acid, Anhydrous Ammonia, etc.) via truck and tanker/hopper rail car
  • Rehandle off-spec product. Mix, heat, filter, and pull samples to ensure product conformity
  • Assist operations with tank alignment with transfers of hazardous chemicals for proper valve alignment, sampling techniques, safety exposures, environmental consideration, and follow Standard operating procedures
  • Monitor products transferred to and from tanks, vessels, or pipelines at terminal site
  • Assist with terminal maintenance duties as needed, maintaining equipment in operating condition
  • Pull samples as per Standard Operating Procedure for chemical analysis to guarantee product integrity
  • Input information into electronic hand-held device which documents Standard Operating Procedure, load out activities, and tank production/spec information
  • Load trucks, railcars and unload raw materials from outside suppliers and intra-plant Units
  • Track mobile movement & spot railcars and tanker trailers
  • Heavy Machinery operations (Front End Loader & Dump Truck)
  • Assist customers and/or producers with any problems that may arise

 

What You'll Bring:

 

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Experience in handling Liquid and Dry products for agricultural and industrial use is preferred
