What You'll Do:
Â
- Assist with terminal / distribution operations by performing loading and unloading hazardous chemicals (nitric Acid, Anhydrous Ammonia, etc.) via truck and tanker/hopper rail car
- Rehandle off-spec product. Mix, heat, filter, and pull samples to ensure product conformity
- Assist operations with tank alignment with transfers of hazardous chemicals for proper valve alignment, sampling techniques, safety exposures, environmental consideration, and follow Standard operating procedures
- Monitor products transferred to and from tanks, vessels, or pipelines at terminal site
- Assist with terminal maintenance duties as needed, maintaining equipment in operating condition
- Pull samples as per Standard Operating Procedure for chemical analysis to guarantee product integrity
- Input information into electronic hand-held device which documents Standard Operating Procedure, load out activities, and tank production/spec information
- Load trucks, railcars and unload raw materials from outside suppliers and intra-plant Units
- Track mobile movement & spot railcars and tanker trailers
- Heavy Machinery operations (Front End Loader & Dump Truck)
- Assist customers and/or producers with any problems that may arise

What You'll Bring:

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience in handling Liquid and Dry products for agricultural and industrial use is preferred
