What You'll Do:

The Senior Supervisor, Rotating Equipment is responsible for leading, managing, and directing the Rotating Equipment Department within the M&R Department to ensure the reliable operation and repair of rotating equipment to manufacturers and engineering specifications.

What you will do:

- Lead and ensure compliance with site safety and environmental programs and departmental procedures consistent with Company policy, goals and objectives, regulatory compliance, and industry best practice, i.e. PSM compliance, mechanical integrity, supplier & services integrity and integration
- Ensures long term plant infrastructure reliability and integrity efforts and end of life tracking and replacement of major machinery, equipment, and processes
- Ensure equipment inspections, inspection documentations and recommendations of any corrective action judged to be necessary, quality control and technical direction of maintenance of critical equipment, determination of economical solutions for repetitive equipment failures, and development of term predictive and preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimum plant reliability and availability and repair
- Provide engineering support as required for the following:

- Correction of repetitive equipment failures via upgrade modification or replacement of process equipment.
- Provide effective preventive/predictive/reliability maintenance programs and spare parts recommendations.
- Equipment troubleshooting/repairs during plant forced outages due to breakdown or malfunctions.
- The maintenance and updating of plant engineering specifications, maintenance technical specification manuals, and engineering drawings.Â
- Coordinate the conditioning monitoring program (Rotating equipment)
- Manage the site’s Bad Actor program by providing reports based on Maintenance spend and loss of production
- Champion failure analysis and vulnerability studies and develop a plan to eliminate or reduce loses through root cause analysis. Apply value analysis to make maintenance decisions, i.e., repair/replace and repair/design
- Review downtime reports and equipment histories to identify reoccurring maintenance problems requiring engineering attention
- Identify opportunities for technologies to be updated or better utilized in order to achieve production cost savings, improved throughput or product quality improvements
- Utilize KPIs to identify reliability bottlenecks and work with Operations and Maintenance personnel to improve availability.
- Develop Training Plan for increasing skill levels and technical competency of personnel

What You'll Bring:
- B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the chemical, Petro-chemical or related continuous process operations with direct exposure to the various maintenance disciplines
- Experience with reliability improvement processes: planning/scheduling, root cause failure analysis, PM Optimization, key performance indicators, and reliability engineering
- Familiarity with Process Safety Management
- Experience with industry codes and RAGAGEP
- Understanding of ASME and API codes relating to procurement, testing, and repair of rotating equipment
- Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office
