Reporting to the Senior Manager, Maintenance and Reliability, the Superintendent, Maintenance Execution is responsible for the safe and effective execution of all maintenance activities throughout the Augusta site.  This includes day to day maintenance, preventative and predictive maintenance, longer-term maintenance activities such as outages, turnarounds and non-routine work, and providing support for capital project planning and execution.  As part of the Augusta leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility. 

 

What you will do:

  • Lead and oversee the safe and effective execution of all maintenance activities, including day-to-day maintenance and proactive asset care activities, outages, turnarounds while following Nutrien’s and industry standards and leading practices
  • Work closely with the reliability group to ensure appropriate asset care strategies are in place and executed as planned and to identify and resolve key equipment issues to ensure asset integrity and asset/process reliability
  • Supports developing and stewarding to the maintenance budget including routine, outages, turnarounds and non-routine items
  • Support the project group in coordination, development, planning and execution of capital and non-routine projects
  • Lead and develop team members at various levels, skill sets, and experience
  • Work with 3rd party vendors on effective management of onsite contractors

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in a related discipline (i.e.  Mechanical Engineering) or a minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience in an industrial maintenance environment with direct exposure to the various maintenance disciplines
  • 10 year’s industrial plant experience and/or a minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience in an industrial maintenance environment with direct exposure to the various maintenance disciplines
