What you will do:
- Champion a proactive SHE culture and lead by example in all operations
- Conduct at least four monthly field coaching interactions with front-line Team Leads
- Lead safety meetings and maintain up-to-date PSM documentation and entering ETQ events and resolution
- Perform two or more procedure audits and ADAPT safety observations per week
- Maintain housekeeping and report/clean any spills which could result in an environmental concern
- Assign and supervise staff managing ammonia and urea loading operations both solutions and dry products
- Ensure proper staff competencies and minimal disruption from maintenance activities
- Coordinate specific loading schedules and establish communication with stakeholders
- Ensure safe, compliant, and on-schedule loading via truck and rail
- Oversee warehouse operations and ensure urea is stored properly
- Liaise with plant personnel on bagging/consumable inventory levels and critical spare parts
- Support CAPEX planning and maintenance scheduling
- Chair maintenance planning meetings and respond to equipment issues
- Partner with vendors for inspections and ensure timely equipment checks
- Ensure relevant training of all direct reports are scheduled
- Collaborate with Site Manager, Training to ensure specific training delivered
- Assess training needs and evaluate training effectiveness
What you will bring:
- Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, or related experience
- 3+ years in chemical logistics or industrial shipping with supervisory experience
- Familiarity with rail/truck dispatch and hazardous materials shipping regulations
- Strong organizational, communication, and safety leadership skills
- Experience with ammonia or urea handling and export documentation
- Working knowledge of SAP or other logistics software platforms
- Transport Management or SHE certification
