This is an open and continuous posting for Chemical Engineering Co-op Student positions at our US Phosphate facility in Aurora, NC.
This role is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.

What you will do:
- Assist the site with various duties, including:
- Project work
- Advancing process related projects
- Troubleshoot process problems
- Inspecting chemical processing equipment
- Work will be both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Outside the office, standard work wear will consist of hard hats, safety boots, safety glasses and ear plugs, with other items as needed; these items will be provided
What you will bring:

Currently pursuing a Bachelors’ degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent related program with a graduation date of Aug 2023 or later.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Must be able to work at heights, outdoors, and around potentially hazardous chemicals.
- Must be comfortable and physically capable of entering and working in a confined space.
- Must be able to hear and understand audible alarms, changes in noise levels of rotating equipment and portable radio communications.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
