This position will report directly to the Senior Enviromenal Engineer.
What you will do:
- Support air, water, and waste compliance processes including routine inspections, monitoring, sampling, and waste characterization
- Contribute to data collection and validation for regulatory reporting including Tier II, Waste Summary, Injection Wells, Toxic Release Inventory, Title V Deviation, and Discharge Monitoring Reports
- Support development of standard operating procedures in alignment with plan, do, check, act methodology to continually improve environmental performance
- Work with project engineering team to assist with planning and execution of environmental aspects of capital projects
- Develop relationships across plant teams to further environmental culture of commitment
- Assist with environmental document management and control processes to ensure continued adequacy of environmental management system
- Monitor for regulatory change and assist with site applicability assessments
- Support environmental incident investigations and associated corrective actions
- Other activities as needed to support environmental performance at the site
What you will bring:
- Four-year degree in chemical, environmental, mechanical engineering, physical sciences, environmental science, or equivalent related program
- Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, and online research and reporting
