What You'll Do:

 

  • Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment 
  • Applies actual field condition information, relevant technical data, trade knowledge, personal experience, along with the appropriate input from maintenance and operation personnel into highly executable plans
  • Ensuring all plans developed are consistent with the Nutrien Planning Standards. This will include safety procedures, hazards and mitigations, maintenance standards/procedures, identification of required resources, estimated task durations, materials, equipment, and services required to execute the work identified.
  • Assembly of fully planned work into formal job packages for transport to maintenance groups for field execution. 
  • Receives feedback from trades supervisors/trades personnel regarding ideas and procedures that will result in future efficiency gains. Applies feedback to maintenance plans and task list
  • The planner is expected to report on his/her progress on a weekly basis and communicate any issues that are preventing plans from progressing

What You'll Bring:

 

  • High School Diploma
  • 5 years working in an industrial setting
  • 5 years of rotating equipment knowledge  
  • Knowledge and understanding of the SAP Maintenance Module
  • Problem solving for a wide variety of problems (technical and organizational) in addition to contributing specific operating and technical experience
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with key stakeholders
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
