This position is located in Borger, Texas, USA and is not available for remote work.

 

What you will do:

  • Collects samples for laboratory analysis including Gas Sampling, Anhydrous Ammonia Product and Urea Process Sampling
  • Conducts Water Analyses Testing for all Plant areas including performing calibration graphs whenever required
  • Operates all Spectrophotometers, pH Meters, Conductivity Meter, Titrators, Chromatographs, ICP-OES, FT-IR, Size Particle Analyzers, & standard laboratory equipment capably including basic operations and calibration.
  • Conducts Environmental Wastewater Testing for all Plant areas capably including generating daily reports.
  • Effectively carries out MDEA Testing for all Plant areas concern
  • Analyze daily shift samples and raw materials
  • Prepare samples to be analyzed
  • Maintain Lab & equipment 
  • Compile data and generate reports 
  • Work in all areas of the plant where needed, which includes climbing stairs, working in extreme environments at times and un-even surfaces

 

What you will bring:

  • 3 years Lab Technician work experience preferred in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel & Outlook)  
  • Strong math skills
  • Knowledge of chemical waste disposal procedures and regulations
