This role is required to be on-site.
What you will do:
- Perform routine and non-routine journal entries in multiple ERP systems.
- Prepare fixed assets reporting for various stakeholders, including internal and external auditors, planning and forecasting, tax department, and others.
- Analyze monthly fixed asset transactions (additions, retirements, impairments etc…).
- Assist in reconciling the asset management system to the general ledger system.
- Work with the business to set-up fixed assets for new locations.
- Assist with completion of monthly and quarterly reporting from corporate, external and internal auditors, and the tax department.
- Create, Review, and post journal entries during monthly close process as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and departments to find efficiencies in processes.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Review Authority for Expenditure (AFE) projects for policy conformity.
- Troubleshoot issues and work with plant Finance to resolve.
What you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant business experience is required.
- CPA designation, or working towards.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Oracle experience is desired.
- Fixed Asset experience is preferred.
- SAP ECC and SAP S4 experience is an asset.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Self-Motivated and able to prioritize and work well with competing deadlines.
- Mature attitude and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong integrity and business ethics.

- Proficient computer skills, including Advanced Microsoft Excel.
