Reporting to the Senior Manager, Central Finance, Nutrien is seeking a proactive, results-driven professional to join our Team as a BlackLine Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on taking ownership, driving efficiency, and continuously improving processes.
In this role, you will be the primary administrator for BlackLine, ensuring optimal functionality and supporting key finance operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including Global Controllers, SOX, and Tax teams, to deliver excellence in financial processes.
What You'll Do:
- Own the administration of BlackLine for account reconciliations, task management, and transaction matching modules.
- Streamline and enhance processes by monitoring, identifying, and updating procedures and documentation.
- Respond to ad hoc requests with speed and accuracy.
- Prepare and manage internal and external audit requests.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts, driving efficiency and innovation in system usage.
- Support projects and special initiatives within the Central Finance team that shape the future of finance operations.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in accounting or finance (preferred).
- Business degree with a finance or accounting major.
- Knowledge of BlackLine (asset) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- A self-driven, results-oriented mindset, with strong sense of ownership and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player with flexibility, a positive attitude, and a client-focused approach.
