This role will be based out of Calgary, AB or Saskatoon, SK.
Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, Period End Close & Accounting Support, NPKC, this individual is responsible for the Government Surveys process. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with individuals across the company including Nutrien’s Global Controllers teams, Human Resources, Tax and other departments as applicable.
What you will do:
- Administer end-to-end government survey processes, including request tracking and deadline management.
- Maintain comprehensive survey tracking system and status reports.
- Prepare and submit annual, quarterly, and monthly regulatory surveys.
- Monitor government survey inbox and coordinate responses with relevant departments.
- Review and update survey-related policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.
- Experience with Excel to analyze large and varied data sets.
- Experience with large scale ERPs.
- Strong data management and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in deadline-driven environments.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
