This temporary position begins in February 2026, and will last approximately 14 months. Reporting to the Manager, Integrity, the successful candidate will support the implementation of Nutrien’s global integrity program (ethics and compliance program) within the Legal Department. Working closely with business units and functional teams globally, the position will contribute to integrity related third-party due diligence, training, and investigation processes.
What you will do:
- Provide support across Nutrien’s global integrity program in areas including:
- Third-Party Screening
- Conduct routine sanctions and reputational screening on third parties.
- Administer the third-party screening system and maintain process documentation.
- Collaborate with operations and other departments to identify and implement improvements in due diligence processes and systems.
- Policy Management
- Assist with developing and updating the Code of Conduct and associated policies.
- Training & Communications
- Design and deliver global training and communications on the online Code of Conduct and identify key risk areas (e.g., workplace conduct, anti-bribery, gifts & entertainment, fair competition, trade sanctions, conflicts of interest).
- Administer the learning management system, ensuring timely training assignments, accurate data and insightful reporting.
- Respond to employee questions regarding the Code of Conduct and related policies.
- Speaking Up and Investigations
- Administer the Integrity Helpline and case management system.
- Support integrity investigation processes from intake to case closure, including maintaining tools such as guides and templates.
- Administer the internal investigations intake process and assist with internal investigations, when required.
- Promote a culture of integrity where concerns can be raised confidentially and addressed appropriately.
- Program Innovation & Support:
- Support identifying, developing, and implementing technology solutions to automate integrity program processes (e.g., reporting, gift & entertainment approvals, conflict of interest disclosures).
- Stay current on best practices and innovations in compliance, ethics, and integrity.
- Provide support to the Integrity Group in all aspects of the integrity program, working closely with internal and external stakeholders globally.
- Third-Party Screening
What you will bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Law/Compliance/Ethics, Business Analysis, Internal Audit, Communications, Human Resources, Organizational Management, or another relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience, with exposure to a global compliance/ethics or integrity-related function (e.g., in-house compliance/ethics, legal, human resources, internal audit) with responsibilities in the following areas:
- Technology platforms for case management, learning, communications, and third-party due diligence.
- Designing and delivering training and communications (virtual and in-person).
- Third-party due diligence.
- Vendor management.
- Internal investigations.
- Drafting and maintaining policies, processes, and procedures.
- Knowledge of key compliance risks and regulations (e.g., anti-bribery, sanctions, third-party risk) is an asset.
- Curious, agile learner with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong project management skills, including task prioritization, resource coordination, and timeline management.
- Proficiency in leveraging digital tools, platforms, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other technologies (including Microsoft Office suite) to communicate with impact and perform tasks efficiently.
- Skilled in data analysis and interpretation to support program enhancements.
- Able to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Effective collaborator with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
