This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global SAP QA Lead.

 

What you will do: 

  • Support all the areas of QA and test activities working closely with manual testing teams.
  • Work with functional and business teams to quickly understand the requirements and work on automating the test cases/scenarios.
  • Manage and maintain the automation regression test library, which includes creating new automated test scripts and updating/changing existing automation test scripts.
  • Collaborate with test engineers and analysts to plan, develop and execute automation regression.
  • Develop robust automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in testing various aspects of software functionality. 
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to understand software requirements and testing objectives, ensuring alignment and clarity in testing goals. 
  • Implement Test Data Service to externalize test data and run tests for data variations.
  • Execute and maintain automated test suites efficiently for functional, regression, and integration testing, integrating Tosca tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Create Execution lists and execute tests in DEX remote agents in unattended mode.
  • Analyse test results meticulously, identify discrepancies and anomalies, and communicate findings clearly to the development team, facilitating swift issue resolution.
  • Maintain the HP ALM repository with automated test results.
  • Leverage various reporting tools to report activities and progression of regression testing and other test-related activities.
  • Support and help the QA manager in day-to-day activities.
  • Learn and expand automation test capabilities within Nutrien leveraging various automation and testing-related technologies.

 

What you will bring: 

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field, ensuring a strong foundation in software testing and development lifecycle principles. 
  • 5+ years of experience in the Quality Assurance and/or Software testing space.
  • Hands-on experience in software testing with a focus on Tosca automation, demonstrating proficiency and clarity in automated testing processes. 
  • Proficiency in SAP application testing and automation.
  • Proficiency in a comprehensive understanding of Tosca functionalities, coupled with a good understanding of any of the scripting languages, such as Java, JavaScript, or Groovy.
  • Familiarity with Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies, ensuring clarity in iterative testing processes and effective collaboration within cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong analytical abilities to dissect test results and communicate findings clearly and concisely, facilitating actionable insights for the development team.
