This position is located in Calgary, AB.
What you wil do:
- Review, reconcile, confirm and approve Treasury transactions: payments, FX, debt-related, investment-related and other
- Provide and confirm wire instructions
- Review, submit invoices for approval and processing in ERPs
- PAD approvals
- Prepare bank account documentation: KYC documents andother requests from banks
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of treasury payments and intercompany transactions
- Evaluate counterparty credit risk
- Monitor and manage account reconciliation
- Bank account management: adding/changing services etc
- Setup/update accounts, templates and auto tagging rules in the Reval Treasury Management System
- Provide access to banking platforms, TMS and other Treasury-related systems
- TMS Journal entries posting
- Manage relationships with key bank counterparties, including support for technical interactions with external banking systems and problem resolution
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Accounting, Planning, Tax, AP, AR, Legal and regional Treasury groups
- Oversee month end/quarter end/year end activities
- Produce reports on cash, debt, liquidity, finance income and expense on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Participate in audit walkthrough, including Sox-related
- FBAR reporting
- Identify and implement new processes to improve accuracy and efficiency, leveraging technology where possible
What you will bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting or other relevant field
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of treasury operations, cash management principles, and financial risk management
- Strong Excel, and/or, data analysis skills and experience; SAP/Oracle experience an asset
- Critical thinker, attentive to detail with an interest in finance and investment
- Resourceful, takes initiative and able to work both independently and in a team
- Treasury System and/or SAP knowledge is an asset
