Analyst / Sr Analyst, Global Cash Management

This role is accepting candidates at both the Analyst and Senior Analyst level. Qualified applicants will be evaluated for the level that aligns most closely with their education, experience, and qualifications.
This position is required to be on-site and is located in Calgary, Alberta.

What you will do:
- Daily cash management activities including debt issuance, investment, cash forecasting, balance reporting and Treasury payment processing
- Data analysis and financial modelling to support global cash flow forecasting, variance analysis, debt and credit capacity
- Manage relationships with key bank counterparties, including support for technical interactions with external banking systems and issue resolution
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Accounting, Planning, Tax, AP, AR, Legal and regional Treasury groups
- Produce reports on cash, debt and liquidity on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Identify and implement new processes to improve accuracy and efficiency, leveraging technology where possible
- Evaluate counterparty credit risk
What you will bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Math, Data Science or other relevant field; pursuit of professional accounting or finance designation an asset
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills and experience; Power BI, SAP, EPM (formerly BPC) experience an asset
- Good understanding of financial statements and financial statement analysis
- Critical thinker, attentive to detail and resourceful, able to work both independently and in a team
