This individual contributor role is accountable for developing, implementing and managing profitable and competitive sales and procurement strategies and programs within domestic markets for Proven Seed Cereal business in Canada. Under the direction of the Product Manager, the position will be responsible for ensuring that the product is effectively managed.
What you will do:
- Operations
- Manage logistics, allocations, and purchase orders for assigned products and territories
- Coordinate shipping from production locations to individual retails
- Manage Inventory position across the retail network within assigned parameters
- Ad Hoc purchasing of varieties in order to meet demand
- Production
- Manage production of seed varieties within assigned territory via contract growers
- Manage relationships with contract growers
- Oversee QA/QC and regulatory requirements
- Business Strategy
- Develop and support strategic initiatives to drive business growth
- Responsible for helping to achieve sales targets within an assigned geography
- Partnering with stakeholders across the business to advocate for the product line
- Sales Support
- Responsible for supporting sales activity to an assigned group of retail locations, including but not limited to:
- Providing Pricing Guidance
- Providing Product Knowledge and technical support
- Supporting retail operational procedures
- Provide effective training to Country staff in positioning and marketing varieties

- Complete other tasks as assigned to meet business needs and objectives.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or Commerce is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with particular focus using Excel.
- Strong understanding of general agricultural practices with the ability to learn product-specific details.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment while managing tasks independently.
- Strong tactical planning and execution skills, with a focus on inventory management, country support, and marketing alignment.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills to effectively market products and educate a variety of audiences.
- Effective relationship-building skills, quickly establishing trust and rapport.
- A team player attitude, with a willingness to collaborate and support others across the business.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, impactful role.
- Previous experience with SAP software, SQL, or Excel VBA is an asset not a requirement.
