What You'll Do:
- Establish, govern and continuously enhance the EHSS data management, reporting and formal second-line assurance program elements of the Nutrien Way (integrated management system), supporting effective mitigation of associated material risks.
- Oversee the integrity, security, and accessibility of EHSS data across the company to ensure accurate, timely and transparent reporting of performance insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze EHSS data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and report actionable insights to leadership.
- Support the development and maintenance of EHSS performance metrics, dashboards, and performance benchmarking.
- Manage the execution of the formal risk-based second-line assurance program centered on process safety management and the management of material EHSS risks across the company.
- Govern the selection, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHSS information systems and digital tools in partnership with the Technology Function and other EHSS sub-functions.
- Facilitate training and capability-building on EHSS systems, data management, and assurance processes.
- Collaborate with other EHSS sub-functions and business partners to ensure alignment and integration of reporting, assurance, and systems activities with overall EHSS strategy and objectives.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing health and safety functions within complex organizations.
- Senior leader who has achieved significant success in one-or-more other businesse(s) by driving change and innovation, resulting in superior results.
- Progressive leadership positions in health and safety positions in the agricultural, mining, chemical processing, or transportation industries.
- Proven experience in implementing and enhancing safety information systems, metrics, and dashboards.
- Exceptional analytical skills which have been utilized to inform leadership of trends, risks and opportunities for safety related enhancements.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills and a track record of turning complex data into concrete and actionable strategic recommendations for large organizations, coupled with a flexible and adaptable approach towards influencing others.
