Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition for Nitrogen, Phosphate, Potash, Corporate & Commercial, the Manager, Talent Acquisition, Corporate & Commercial is a seasoned recruitment leader responsible for designing and executing strategic recruitment initiatives to attract top talent across all levels for Nutrien. The Manager will partner with the Talent Acquisition Team to deliver the right talent to the Corporate & Commercial operating segments in a consistent, efficient, and effective manner, while ensuring a positive candidate experience is provided. This position will play a key role in designing and executing the Global alignment of recruitment processes across Nutrien's operating segments and will coach and collaborate across terms, ensuring consistency, as we advance Nutrien's One Nutrien mindset.
What you will do:
- Lead and manage Talent Acquisition Recruitment for the Corporate and Commercial operating segments of Nutrien. Oversee the recruiting function, ensuring it is cost-effective, technology-enabled, and adaptable to the changing talent needs of the business
- Utilize talent market insights, artificial intelligence, and competitive intelligence to develop innovative strategies that create talent pipelines for critical roles and attract and engage candidates
- Lead, develop, and nurture the Corporate & Commercial Talent Acquisition team's performance and career growth
- Connect and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Marketing, Talent Strategy and Sourcing teams to develop talent pools and pipelines for both core and critical roles
- Partner with the business and internal HR subject matter experts to provide a flawless recruitment experience for all stakeholders
- Accountable for communicating metrics reporting, talent insights and workforce planning analysis as well as analysis and reporting on key metrics such as hiring efforts, turnover, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire and other KPIs
- Identify trends in the labor market and partner closely with the business to execute strategic next steps to acquire needed talent
- Stay informed on industry best practices to support the organization’s hiring needs
- Collaborate, innovate, and problem-solve with the broader talent team to contribute to the overall success and consistency of the Nutrien Talent function
- Manage and adhere to Talent Acquisition annual budget and assist in preparing annual budgets
- Train new and existing Talent Acquisition eam members on required processes, system usage, and maintenance and address performance as needed
What you will bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 8+ years of relatable experience and a minimum of 5+ years in a leadership capacity within the recruitment industry
- Experience with Corporate recuitment functions
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to listen effectively
- Ability to analyze and interpret recruitment data and educate recruiters on techniques and practices to create efficiencies and effectiveness in their recruitment processes
- Ability to design and implement processes
- Proactive and highly results-oriented
- Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills
- Ability to motivate, influence, and inspire others
- Experience with Success Factors, ATS, Sourcing and Recruitment Marketing tools
