What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of IT communications and engagement planning.
  • Partner with the corporate communications team to tell Nutrien’s technology stories to the wider Nutrien employee base, and beyond.
  • Develop and manage team communications and change initiatives for our Chief Information Officer and IT Leadership Team. 
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for IT-wide Town Halls and events, in collaboration with our leadership team. 
  • Advise on communications plans and review company-wide messaging from Cybersecurity, AI and other key IT functions. 
  • Collaborate with IT Planning & Transformation team and HR teams to support IT programs and initiatives including Headspace, community volunteering opportunities, and conference/speaking/recruitment. opportunities specific to tech.
  • Review executive-level communications including Executive Leadership Team and Board presentations.
  • Maintain and continue to develop our global IT SharePoint Hub site.
  • Partner on proactive efforts to support employee mental health and wellness and contribute to our Culture of Care.

What You'll Bring:

  • 6-8 years of experience in communications, journalism, marketing, organizational change management, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in a large corporate environment or agency. 
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design skills, including ability to present concepts verbally. 
  • Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and partnership. 
  • Experience presenting technical initiatives to a non-technical audience. 
  • Superior organization and prioritization skills, striving to meet tight timelines and balancing multiple competing priorities.  
  • Experience developing and executing leadership communications strategies and approaches. 
  • Confidence as a communicator and presenter. 
  • Competence in standard Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Experience with SharePoint and Viva Engage preferred.
