Under the general direction of the Sr. Manager, Product Stewardship, the Product/Chemical Safety Information Coordinator (SDSs) is a key member of the PS Team supporting the Sr. Manager, PS staff, and other Nutrien Safety Health & Environment technical experts as described below.
What you will do:
Manage and Maintain SDS documents and access/delivery platforms:
- Keep Safety Data Sheet holdings current on internal and external access and publication platforms including: SAP and Oracle auto-delivery systems, Sharepoint, Products database, EtQ, and CHEMTREC.
- Maintain records of active and out of circulation SDSs.
- Conduct external SDS searches and contact chemical suppliers to obtain current SDS versions
- Maintain network of Nutrien contacts to coordinate and manage site level SDS listings
- Respond to general SDS inquiries and access portal user issues
Stewardship Work Process Development and Awareness:
- Implement document management practices across Stewardship per Nutrien standards
- Develop procedures for SDS authoring, access and delivery platforms
- Provide awareness training on use of SDS access and delivery platforms
- Work with colleagues to develop Stewardship procedures
Manage Stewardship Incident Classification and Investigation Process:

- Maintain and improve the Product Stewardship Incident Reporting function
- Primary Classification and investigator for stewardship incidents
- Responsible for user training for incident classification and reporting
What you will bring:

- High school diploma and 3-year general office administration experience.
- Business Administration certificate preferred.
- Business organization and project management experience preferred.
- Detail oriented, superior document management and proofing skills.
- Experienced in the effective use of SAP, Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Share Point software.
- Strong stakeholder focus and proactive response to identify issues and solve problems. This role interacts with Stewardship, SDS authors, Registrations groups, operations site Safety advisors and admins, general public inquiries.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn and ask questions.
- Ability to proactively document and maintain assigned work processes, identify gaps and improvements, and initiate actions to upgrade effectiveness.
- Ability to build relationships, communicate, and work with relevant cross-functional groups throughout the organization.
- Ability to demonstrate creativity in proposing new solutions to business problems.
- Ability to initiate improvements to product safety document platforms and take initiative to recommend and develop learning tools.
