What You'll Do:
- Define and continuously improve QA practices, standards, and governance models.
- Establish consistent testing approaches across teams, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Lead the adoption and evolution of automation strategies while balancing with manual testing where appropriate.
- Hands-on testing and active participation in QA work as a core part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
- Mentor and support developers, testers, and product owners in quality practices.
- Evaluate and implement testing tools and frameworks as needed.
- Partner with software engineers, business analysts, release management, and infrastructure teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Track and report quality metrics and advocate for quality at all stages of development.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or practice-defining role.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, automation, and modern SDLC (Agile, DevOps).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Postman, etc.) and test management platforms.
- Proven ability to establish and scale QA practices across multiple teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Experience working in custom application environments.
- Familiarity with release management and CI/CD integration.
