Nutrien's Culture & Employee Experience function is dedicated to enhancing the entire employee journey within our organization. As a Senior Advisor, Culture & Employee Experience, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing internal employee experience strategies, focusing on improving organizational culture and employee engagement.  Key responsibilities will include understanding the evolving needs of our employees, designing and delivering truly engaging experiences, measuring the impact of all EX initiatives, and driving internal communication in order to build a strong employee brand.  This role involves project management as well as sustaining and continuous improvement of ongoing initiatives to deliver an employee experience program that drives talent and business outcomes.


What you will do:


Employee Experience (EX) Design and Delivery

  • Create the structures, organization and frameworks through people, processes, and technology to shape the employee experience.
  • Develop, implement and sustain, a variety of EX initiatives that support the experience throughout the employee lifecycle and boost employee engagement and satisfaction (orientation and onboarding, non-monetary recognition and reward programs, culture initiatives, Employee Value Proposition, and offboarding and retirement programs).
  • Embed inclusive practices and procedures in all aspects of the employee life cycle.
  • Organize and coordinate selected employee events and activities to enhance employee engagement


Understand and Analyze Employee and Business Needs

  • Lead or support initiatives to gather employee feedback to identify areas for improvement. 
  • Analyze data and trends to understand employee sentiment and satisfaction.
  • Understand business needs and priorities in the design and delivery of employee experience activities and programs.


Measure and Improve EX

  • Establish KPIs or metrics to track the effectiveness of EX initiatives. 
  • Regularly review and evaluate EX programs and processes. 
  • Make adjustments based on data and feedback to continuously improve the employee experience. 

Collaborate with Stakeholders

  • Work with HR, business leaders, employees and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and implementation of EX initiatives. 
  • Communicate EX strategies and initiatives to all stakeholders. 

 

What you will bring:


  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in HR or human capital consulting, with a strong preference for 2 - 3 years of working experience in employee engagement or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Project management skills, to manage the implementation of EX initiatives and ensure timely completion. 
  • Analytical skills, to interpret data, identify trends, and measure the impact of EX initiatives.
  • Strategic thinking skills to develop and implement long-term EX strategies. 
  • Creativity and innovation to develop innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience. 
  • Change management skills in order to effectively communicate and manage changes that may impact the employee experience. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to effectively interact with employees at all levels and build relationships. 
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize effectively in order to manage multiple projects and initiatives at once.
  • High attention to detail, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to address a range of stakeholders and audiences.
  • Experience working with a variety of technological tools, including: Office 365, SuccessFactors (preferred), online survey tools, etc.
