The Senior Advisor, Catalogue Enablement will play a key role in supporting Nutrien’s Procurement Systems team by executing catalog management initiatives, driving optimization strategies, and leading SAP Ariba Catalog enablement. This role sits within the Procurement Systems and Enablement team and contributes to process excellence by combining expertise in supplier lifecycle management, supplier enablement, and procure-to-pay processes. The Senior Advisor ensures seamless onboarding and catalog integration for suppliers on the SAP Business Network, supporting compliance, efficiency, and user adoption. The position partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to optimize Source-to-Pay (S2P) outcomes and serves as a trusted advisor for procurement technology and process optimization.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with procurement, IT, and finance teams to deliver and maintain SAP Ariba Catalog Management solutions, including hosted and punchout catalogs, supporting process excellence and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate the development and execution of catalog enablement strategies that align with procurement goals, compliance standards, and change management initiatives.
- Maintain the catalog content lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, usability, and adherence to Nutrien’s procurement and governance standards.
- Partner with suppliers to onboard and sustain catalogs on the Ariba Network, providing guidance and troubleshooting integration issues to foster continuous learning and supplier engagement.
- Support and facilitate punchout integrations and Ariba guided buying functionality, working collaboratively to optimize user experience and procurement outcomes.
- Monitor and report on KPIs for catalog performance, supplier adoption, and process efficiency; identify and facilitate opportunities for process optimization and continuous learning.
- Develop and deliver training, documentation, and support for internal teams and suppliers, promoting best practices and a culture of compliance.
- Act as a collaborative liaison between procurement, IT, and suppliers to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and advance governance and technology capabilities.
- Support and facilitate downstream processes for buying and invoicing, working collaboratively with procurement and finance teams to ensure process excellence and compliance.
- Assist with supplier onboarding and lifecycle management in Ariba SLP, supporting risk evaluation and compliance through effective documentation, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field, providing foundational knowledge to support procurement technology and process optimization.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in procurement systems, supplier enablement, or process improvement, equipping you to lead catalog management initiatives and drive optimization strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training and maintaining documentation, enabling you to promote best practices and continuous learning for internal teams and suppliers.
- Strong understanding of process and change management practices, supporting the facilitation of catalog enablement strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, allowing you to partner effectively with procurement, IT, finance, and suppliers to deliver and maintain catalog solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio) and hands-on familiarity with procurement systems (SAP Ariba, SAP ECC/S4HANA, Oracle), ensuring accuracy and usability in catalog content lifecycle and system integration.
- Professional certifications (SAP Ariba, SCMP/CPSM, PMP, Six Sigma) considered an asset, demonstrating commitment to industry standards and process excellence
- willingness to travel (up to ~20%) to support cross-functional collaboration and supplier engagement.
