Our Information Technology team plays a critical role at Nutrien, enabling our business with the technology needed to advance toward our digital future. In addition to managing the systems and tools that keep our company running, we enable Nutrien’s tech strategy and run Centres of Excellence in Cloud, Cybersecurity, Automation, and SAP, as well as a Centre for Acceleration in Data in Analytics.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of End user computing, you will be a lead subject matter expert for Collaboration services with a primary focus in Microsoft’s O365 Online of applications.

 

What you will do:

•    Develops and oversees successful execution of strategic roadmap for Collaboration products maintaining global, business, and technology alignment as user requirements and product capabilities evolve
•    Maintains current product knowledge for collaboration products with focus of future releases to ensure organizational readiness with change and user adoption
•    Acts as a lead resource in oversight of projects relative to Collaboration area to ensure project implementation is in alignment with enterprise strategy and architecture, further ensuring outcomes are realized as planned
•    Acts as a lead resource in guiding operational teams to ensure stability of services; will often provide guidance during major incidents to lead resolution and ensure RCA is delivered with resolution items completed. Lead efforts to collect data, conduct analysis, develop, and implement solutions to resolve incidents
•    Provide implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring oversight with an outsourced IT support organization
•    Maintains oversight of Collaboration domain ensuring key indicators of service health are as expected
•    Primary liaison for service providers with regard to Collaboration products. i.e. Main PoC for Microsoft account team in working with Nutrien for applications such as Teams
•    Interfaces with dependent IT teams where Collaboration services are utilized or integrated with.  Commonly works with the Network and Cloud teams for interoperability with non-Microsoft platforms such as Cisco’s Unified Communications
•    Work with peer IT teams to deliver projects dependent on collaboration services leading change for implementation
•    Collaborate with peers and other service lanes to drive quality analysis addressing impactful issues such as slow connections and user experience issues
•    Support customer requirements in a 24/7/365 environment and be able to provide on-call support during after-hours outages (on a rotating basis)
•    Support issues related to Exchange group mailboxes and distribution lists to include designating an end-user(s) as the group mailbox or distribution list owner
•    Support requests for eDiscovery in O365 data platforms such as Exchange, OneDrive, and SharePoint
•    Provide guidance for data retention strategies within user environments and O365 (Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint)
•    Interface with Microsoft for Tier 3 support
•    Occasional use of PowerShell to fulfill automation tasks

 

What you will bring:

•    Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in relevant discipline 
•    6+ years of relatable experience

•    Strong ability to think strategically with a centered theme of the end user experience across multiple geographies and business units
•    Initiative to define and oversee implementation of a new solution. Starting from the business problem, deriving necessary architecture or platform changes, define successful outcomes, and lead execution and change management
•    Customer oriented mindset to execute with business awareness for prioritization of projects, tasks, and incident resolution to meet expectations with minimal user impact
•    Maintain knowledge of Microsoft’s features, business requirements, and execute to a roadmap that leads Nutrien proactively through enabling change (feature set management and implementation)
•    Experience with implementation of Microsoft’s online O365 suite of products, particularly Teams using multiple channels with Voice, IM&P, meetings with user or room endpoints, and content sharing
•    Experience with Teams Live to support large broadcasts ensuring a high quality of service
•    Integration of Teams voice with dependent services such as: Emergency services (911), SIP and inter-calling with other voice platforms (Cisco preferred), and optimizing calling services in a global environment
•    Teams integration awareness with dependent platforms on SharePoint, OneDrive, and integration of 3rd party applications within Teams
•    Experience in a hosted Exchange Online environment with Microsoft tenancy (global footprint with geo-tenancy preferred)
•    Knowledge of managing Exchange and Outlook features like enterprise-wide distribution lists and mailbox and data retention (archiving and legal hold)
•    Focus of user consolidation (M&A related) preferred with understanding of mail routing and hosting domains
•    Knowledge of OneDrive and data migrations to the cloud from on-premise infrastructure or end user devices
•    Adept in working with Microsoft support for user or major incident management
•    Ability to shift from strategic to tactical level as required
•    Experience with cloud hosted applications
•    Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
