The Sr. Advisor, Procurement Systems and Enablement is a key role supporting the Manager, Procurement Systems and Enablement in driving technology adoption and optimization across a multi-ERP environment (Oracle, SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA). This role acts as a bridge between the procurement organization and IT, ensuring business needs are clearly understood, translated into system requirements, and effectively implemented. The Sr. Advisor will enable procurement teams through technology by aligning processes, supporting integrations, and promoting best practices.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze business requirements to design, configure, customize, and validate procurement system modules, ensuring all solutions align with functional and operational needs. Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and provide guidance to procurement team on system functionality and usage.Support procurement teams to ensure effective and efficient use of procurement systems.
- Partner with project managers, developers, IT, and cross‑functional teams to deliver successful tool implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during implementation and post‑deployment.
- Integrate procurement tools with enterprise systems and manage ongoing interface performance.
- Analyze business processes using functional and data‑driven methods to recommend technology solutions.
- Identify system improvement opportunities, document requirements, coordinate testing, and implement production changes.
- Assess procurement system functionality and evaluate new releases to leverage enhanced capabilities.
- Apply hands‑on experience with cloud‑based procurement technologies and integrations.
- Drive process automation and innovation using procurement tools to streamline manual workflows.
- Support deployment and roadmap development for procurement technologies (e.g., SAP Fieldglass, SAP Ariba, MCI Track).
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in procurement systems, supply chain, or process improvement roles.
- Professional certifications such as SCMP, CPSM, Lean/Six Sigma, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
- Oracle systems (strongly preferred).
- Experience with SAP ECC/S4
- Experience with Ariba and Fieldglass
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues related to supply chain business processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across departments and all levels of management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process and technology alignment.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Professional certifications such as SCMP, CPSM, or IT-related credentials are considered an asset.
- Experience with cloud-based procurement solutions and digital transformation initiatives are considered an asset.
