This position will report to the Manager, Customer Experience in Calgary.

 

What you will do:

  • Perform invoicing functions, review billing reports of daily shipments for accuracy, and complete invoice adjustments as required
  • Directly interact with customers and internal stakeholders in the areas of invoicing and contract management and trouble shoot inquiries regarding pricing and invoicing
  • Set up accruals and manage accrual payments
  • Maintain required documentation and approvals for adhering to the Sales contract and accrual process
  • Be responsible for contract workflow matrix table
  • Manage and execute consignment process, orders, and billing
  • Manage Ammonia seasonal preload ordering and billing
  • Support International SAP order to cash process
  • Back up to Sales for Reference Price publications to customers and internal staff
  • Create, analyze and supply supporting documents for quarterly and annual audit process
  • Be responsible for exception based, complex transactions as directed by their Leader
  • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports to Sales management team
  • Lead the continuous improvement of Information Technology solutions as they relate to Customer Experience
  • Act as a subject matter expert for order to cash activities and on special projects
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training on an as needed basis

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Supply Chain or related four-year degree
  • Strong customer service focus with 10+ years business experience
  • Experience or background in an Agriculture, Commodities or Industrial Chemicals is beneficial but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Excel with mid-to-expert Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, V-Lookups)
  • Working knowledge of SAP is a strong asset
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, as well as a firm understanding of the business drivers is crucial in this role along with a proven ability to work under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, being detail oriented and comfortable in a team environment
  • Experience and ability to analyze and draw conclusions and actions from data
  • Strong problem resolution and analytical skills along with being able to exercise independent decision-making within established guidelines
  • Solid understanding of customer service processes and procedures and how transactions flow through and report in the various systems
  • Must be highly motivated and requires the ability to lead/coach people to maintain the highest levels of performance
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize deliverables
  • Strong understanding of change management methodology
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Seasonal overtime will be required during peak periods
