The Enterprise FP&A & Corporate Decision Support team is looking for a creative and analytical finance professional that thrives on working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The successful candidate will be part of a high performing team with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements along with strong technical skills in Excel and reporting systems (experience with SAP, Hana and BPC is preferred).
This position reports to the Director, Enterprise FP&A & Corporate Decision Support.
What you will do:
- Lead key processes for consolidated financial processes, including monthly outlooks, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgeting utilizing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Review forecast inputs received from various departments on behalf of all segments (capital, leases, ARO/ERL, etc.) ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely communication of analyses, insights and supporting information.
- Provide monthly variance analysis and insights, commentary, and reporting for executive presentations to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement recurring analyses (working capital, cash from operations, etc.).
- Partner with internal stakeholders including FP&A, Decision Support, Treasury, Market Research, Tax, Corporate Accounting, External Reporting, Investor Relations and Human Resources.
- Maintain FP&A governance and policies, ensuring alignment across segment FP&A processes.
- Strategically assess continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiencies, automation, and report optimization within Corporate FP&A and where opportunities exist across the FP&A cycle for NPKCR.
- Provide dynamic solutions for ad-hoc analysis requests requiring creativity, problem-solving and exceptional analytical skills.
- Serve as a key resource for SAC users, providing training, troubleshooting, and knowledge-sharing on system updates and improvements.
- Perform other duties and projects as needed.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Enrollment in or completion of a professional designation (e.g. CFA, CPA, etc.) is preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or related discipline.
- Solution oriented with strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize concurrent tasks to meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to provide high level analysis as required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and financial systems (experience with SAP, BPC, and HANA desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Works will with others in a multi-task, deadline oriented, environment.
- Self-starter with a high energy level and a track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong conceptual knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
