This position is based in either Calgary, Alberta or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and reports to the Senior Manager, IT Enterprise Applications.

 

What you will do:

  • Act as the lead technical analyst in the sustainment of our Enterprise Project & Portfolio Management tool (Planisware) and wholistic solution.
  • Provide configuration and report-building services within the Planisware toolset.
  • Architect, support, and enhance integrations between Planisware and peripheral systems (SAP, Oracle, SAP HANA, Webmethods, etc.)
  • Appropriately document system or integration changes.
  • Provide backup to our lead Functional Analyst to ensure ticket prioritization and resolution.
  • Partner with our Nitrogen, Phosphate, Potash, Corporate, and Retail business units to provide technical and basic functional support with a particular focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Lead frequent connects with other members of the sustainment organization and supporting members, driving forward technical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other IT partners on items such as Release Management, Data Validation, Integrations, Reporting, Service Assurance, etc. This includes services provided internally and through our key vendors.
  • Support the development and execution of the IT PPM strategy, heavily focused on continuous improvement.
  • Certify as a Planisware Administrator, if not already certified.

 

What you will bring:

  • 6+ years of experience working in an IT organization, preferably with a technical integration-based background.
  • Accredited degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • A combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in a large corporate environment, preferably in cross-functional areas.
  • Finance and Project & Portfolio Management experience is considered an asset.
  • Planisware experience is considered an asset but not required (training will be provided).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in cloud environments and associated technologies.
  • Demonstrated skills with SQL, JavaScript, and other coding languages.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
