What You'll Do:
Â
- Champion projects as needed for new initiatives
- Own and advance strategic initiatives
- Scope, track, measure, and report
- Serve as the primary technical resource for interpreting and explaining SH&E Regulations
- Support Midstream and Downstream SHE&S Function
- Assist management with the establishment and implementation of specific safety objectives within the organization.
- Provide functional and compliance guidance to management
What You'll Bring:
Â
- 10+ years professional experience; minimum 5 years relevant SH&E experience at a senior level
- Bachelor degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Safety, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Hydrology, Chemistry, Law, Business or other related field of studyÂ
- CSP or other relevant safety certification preferred
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace and possess a driver’s license
- Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, ANSI, DHS, & DOT federal, state and local regulations
- Experience with incident investigation
- Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees and management
- Must be self–motivated and disciplined, ability to concurrently deal with multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Well-developed problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
- Must be able to work as an effective and contributing member of a team or independently as the need arises
- Approximately up to 25-30% travel may be required to the Company’s domestic and international locations
