The Innovation Farm Manager will manage all aspects of agronomic practices required for crop production and the showcasing of agronomic, product, and service solutions. As an Innovation Farm Manager, they will be responsible for collaborating with other farm managers, product management, technical services, sustainability, digital and sales to demonstrate new products, services, and integrated solutions.

What You'll Do:
Â
- Execute and maintain agronomic and whole acre demonstrations that showcase the power and efficacy of integrated solutions that solve key grower challenges
- Collect and manage data—including tissue samples, scouting observations, soil samples, and demonstration results—within company‑approved shared systems
- Provide written weekly in‑depth reporting on farm operations, accomplishments, and forward‑looking plans to support alignment and decision‑making
- Assist in development of well-defined SOPs for all aspects of the farm operations including general production practices, fertility application, and all other aspects of the operation
- Manage internal and external labor as needed to complete all tasks required during an annual cycle
- Clearly define and communicate duties, responsibilities, authority, and expectations to direct reports
- Assist with set up and execution of onsite training events
- Leverage digital agronomy solutions and agronomic sales programs on the innovation
- Develop first-hand experience on machine enabled agronomy (i.e. latest precision equipment and digital technology)
- Lead tours of the innovation farm for stakeholders and community members

- Ensure compliance by maintaining all necessary UAS credentials and certifications for application use

What You'll Bring:

Required Education and Experience:
Â
- Bachelor's degree; experience in lieu of degree considered
- Agricultural-based degree desired
- 8 years of related experience
- Including 2 or more years of experience managing people
- Experience with farm management systems (Echelon, QGIS, etc.)
- Excellent time management skills

Preferred Education and Experience:
Â
- 5+ years of relevant management experience in vocational agriculture or a combination of supervisory, education, and work experience
- Willingness to travel, including to market areas in other states
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
Â
Required Skills:

Knowledge (theoretical or practical understanding of a subject)
- Prepare and maintain land to support agronomic needs of corn and soybean production, as well as other potential crops
- Obtain and maintain required permits, licenses, and other regulatory documentation for farm and crop operations
Skills (proficiencies developed through training or experience)
- Execute and maintain agronomic and whole-acre demonstrations
- Document insights and collaborate with Innovation Farm teams to share knowledge and techniques

Compensation & Benefits:Â
Â
The salary range for this role, Champaign, IL, is between $$96,000 - 150,000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process. Â
