Reporting to the Manager, Licensing and Reporting, the Licensing & Reporting Regulatory Specialist will be responsible for managing licenses and tonnage reports for Nutrien Ag Solutions and related entities in USA and Canada. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent time management, organizational skills, and communication skills, and a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance in the Ag industry.
What you will do:
- License Management:
- Maintain a tracker of licensing status, due dates, progress, etc.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all licenses required for the company's operations.
- Ensure timely renewal of licenses and monitor their expiration dates to prevent any disruptions in operations.
- Regularly review and update licensing requirements based on changes in regulations and company activities.
- Coordinate with relevant departments and external agencies to gather all necessary documentation and information for license applications and renewals.
- State Inquiries: Respond to state inquiries, questions, and requests for information regarding licenses in a timely manner.
- Tonnage Reporting:
- Maintain a tracker of tonnage reports status, due dates, and progress.
- Manage the accurate and timely reporting of tonnage data, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry guidelines.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of relevant data from various sources.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on tonnage data, highlighting any significant variations or trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for optimizing tonnage reporting processes.
- State Inquiries: Respond to state inquiries, questions, and requests for information regarding licenses in a timely manner.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain an organized system for centralizing and archiving all licensing and tonnage-related documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
- Establish and enforce best practices for record-keeping.
- Prepare and submit required documentation to regulatory authorities as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of document control procedures and effectively communicate requirements to relevant stakeholders.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, with a focus on state registrations and compliance in the agricultural input industry (fertilizer, adjuvants or crop protection).
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, database management tools).
- Knowledge of tonnage reporting requirements for the Ag Industry.
- Knowledge of licensing requirements for the Ag Industry.
