This position will be posted from April 17, 2026 - April 21, 2026.

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Assist the Nutrien Subsurface Geoscience team with a variety of geological tasks that directly support Nutrien’s potash mining operations.
  • Duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Provide geological support at both the mine and regional scales.
    • Assist with the execution of surface-based potash exploration drill programs.
    • Sample, test, analyze, and report.
    • Wireline log analysis and interpretation (picking geologic markers, etc.).
    • Preparation of technical reports and presentations.
    • Installation and management of surface and underground geotechnical equipment.
    • Assist with geophysical survey acquisition such as ground penetrating radar (GPR), electromagnetics (EM), and seismic.
  • Occasionally work in Nutrien’s underground potash mines.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Some longer than normal workdays may be required.

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Completed second or third year of a degree in Geology or Geological Engineering, from an accredited university.
  • Superior interpersonal, organizational, communication, writing, and computer skills will be required.
  • Past industry experience in potash, mining, or oil and gas would be considered an asset but is not necessary.
  • NOTE: Enrollment in a Co-op program is not required.
