What you will do:
- Provide engineering support to safely implement, maintain, and improve the productivity, efficiency and safety of potash milling operations
- Manage electrically-focused capital projects and provide technical support for project work in other engineering disciplines
- Create technical designs and construction work packages for field implementation of projects with support and input from key stakeholders
- Design and troubleshoot automation controls (PLC and DCS systems) in accordance with industry best practices
- Be committed to sustaining our safe and positive work environment while having the ability to embrace working side by side with others in a diverse culture.
What you will bring:
- Degree in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering
- 5+ years of work experience, preferably in an industrial setting
- Registered as a professional engineer with applicable provincial engineering association, or eligible for registration with APEGS to work towards a P.Eng. designation
- A strong commitment to safety
- PMP or other formal project management training would be considered an asset
- Experience with project coordination, construction management, supervision, quality assurance / control, and procurement are all considered assets
- Self-motivated with proven leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management abilities
