Industrial Mechanic, Journeyperson

Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, this position will be required to maintain, repair and overhaul a variety of Industrial equipment. 

What you will do:

• Inspect equipment, interpret drawings, troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Operate equipment for testing and test for performance using gauges and testing equipment.
• Work safely in a mining environment and able to follow the procedures and policies that are in place
• Participate in safety meetings and inspections, and following standard operating procedures

What you will bring:

• A valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Certificate of Journeyperson Status (Red Seal) as an Industrial Mechanic
• Positive safety behaviour and a safety mindset
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a labour intensive team environment as well as independently
• Stable work record
• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
• Willingness to learn and gain required knowledge and experience through training
