Reporting to the Site Training Manager, this position is responsible for the development and administration of all phases of the Company’s surface training programs, in order to maintain and improve on maintenance, production and supervisory skills and abilities.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Develop and facilitate training for all surface personnel from Onboarding through recurrent training
  • Deliver training to support the operational requirements of the site across surface departments
  • Conduct needs assessments for training opportunities and assist in delivering the required training plans
  • Maintain all training related records to ensure compliance with required standards and regulations
  • Encourage positive learning experiences for our employees and react to feedback as required
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the operational effectiveness of the site
  • Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements both internally and externally
  • Facilitate administration of the surface training material within the Learning Management System (LMS)

 

What you will bring:

 

Strong skills in the areas of collaboration, communication and organization

  • Demonstrated safety leadership
  • Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Good computer skills, especially in the Office 365 suite. 
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills including public speaking
  • Ability to prioritize work tasks with minimal supervision
