What You'll Do:

 

  • Regularly engage with partner suppliers in fulfilling catalog product and price updates
  • Continuously collaborate with procurement peers to understand retail branch demands, taking appropriate action with internal stakeholders while ensuring coordinated alignment with suppliers
  • Follow regulatory guidelines to safeguard genetic/trait compliance for all Nutrien sold items
  • Lead product requests, monitoring, and solving material issues
  • Partner with Master Data teams in year-end catalog reviews.
  • Assist Procurement Manager in assessing supplier and retail branch needs for upcoming crop year
  • Respond to product and price issues with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively conduct analyses to identify catalog gaps and execute revisions before crop season begins
  • Onboard new SAP groups, preparing the seed catalog and price information prior to launch following established material hierarchy and templates

  • Complete other duties and responsibilities as needed to meet business objectives

What You'll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Business, Data Management, or related field is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an agronomic work setting is essential
  • Basic competency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • An enthusiasm for investigating data issues and resolving problems with a keen sense for detail
  • Ability to consistently deliver high quality customer service in a dynamic environment with competing demands
  • Proven adaptability and flexibility to support change management efforts
  • Skilled in communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders through written and verbal formats
  • Working knowledge of retail sales organizations, branch operations, and seed business
  • Travel requirements for this role are minimal (less than 10%)
  • Previous work experience with SAP is preferred

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

 

The salary range for this role, in in Deerfield Corporate office location, is between $90,000 - $99,000. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

 

We provide an attractive benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, and life insurance and well as disability coverage for positions working more than 30 hours per week. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
