What you will do:
- Define and Drive Product Strategy: Set the vision, roadmap, and priorities for digital precision agronomy solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the evolving needs of growers and crop consultants.
- Identify and Frame Market Opportunities: Engage with growers, crop consultants, field teams, and regional leaders to surface pain points and opportunities, translating these into clear product direction and measurable objectives.
- Leverage Digital Toolset Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of digital agronomy platforms (such as Nutrien HUB, Telus Agronomy, or comparable tools) and industry integrations to inform product decisions and accelerate time-to-impact.
- Accelerate Partner Integration: Use established relationships with equipment and data providers to drive faster collaboration and delivery of integrated features.
- Champion Field Enablement and Change Management: Lead change management and enablement efforts for field adoption, supporting regional teams and crop consultants as they transition to new digital tools and workflows, including in offline/low-connectivity environments.
- Measure and Drive Adoption: Define and track north-star metrics (adoption, accuracy, compliance), using data and feedback to iterate and improve product offerings.
- Ensure Compliance and Usability: Balance regulatory requirements with usability and speed, designing minimal-friction user experiences and validating with subject matter experts.
- Communicate and Influence: Present product updates, strategic plans, and key metrics to stakeholders and company leadership, advocating for the customer and the business throughout the product lifecycle.
What you will bring:
- Precision Agronomy Expertise: 10+ years of deep, hands-on experience in fertility planning, seeding strategies, nitrogen modeling, crop planning, field trials, and custom application processes.
- Experience in an Ag Retail Environment: Hands-on exposure to retail operations, working directly with branch employees and growers to understand workflows, pain points, and adoption challenges.
- Field-Facing Collaboration: Proven ability to engage with crop consultants, branch managers, and growers in real-world settings to drive adoption and gather actionable feedback.
- Digital Workflow Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency with digital agronomy platforms (such as Nutrien HUB, Telus Agronomy, John Deere Operations Center, Climate FieldView, etc.) and related integrations, enabling faster time-to-impact and seamless workflow execution.
- Partner Network: Established relationships with key equipment and data partners relevant to the precision agronomy ecosystem (e.g., John Deere, Climate, or similar), with a proven ability to accelerate collaboration and feature delivery.
- Field Enablement & Change Management: Demonstrated success in leading field enablement and change management initiatives across diverse regions, supporting adoption of new digital tools and practices.
- Communication & Documentation: Exceptional ability to produce clear, actionable documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Product Management Experience: 10+ years in product management or agronomy tech leadership, ideally with exposure to precision ag tools (prescription generation, as-applied data), geospatial data, and equipment integrations.
- Outcome-First Mindset: Evidence-based, outcome-first approach; comfortable with ambiguity and iterative delivery; able to make tight decisions with incomplete data and auditable rationale.
- Collaboration & Alignment: Strong ability to collaborate across functions, drive team alignment, and simplify complexity for non-technical users
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $127,500-$218,600 and in Deerfield, IL is between $121,500- $208,200. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
